Dr. Carol Espejo is the founder and guiding light of Ederra Zara. A board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, she completed her medical training at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and later gained specialized expertise in Non-Operative Spine Medicine from the Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin. Over the years, she has built a thriving medical career in Illinois and Texas, always with a focus on functional wellness and compassionate care.
Dr. Espejo’s journey into aesthetic medicine was born from a simple yet profound observation: when you feel good, you look good. Her deep understanding of the human body, coupled with a keen eye for balance and detail, has allowed her to seamlessly blend medical science with the art of aesthetic enhancement.
What began with treatments for family and friends soon evolved into a fully realized practice rooted in natural, elegant outcomes. Ann Hidalgo has a BS in Business Administration degree. For almost 17 years, she served as an office manager and dental assistant in a busy, multi-location dental offices in CA before making the move to Texas. She transitioned into the field of Aesthetic Medicine this year, inspired by the exciting changes happening in this field. Her true passion lies in caring for others and her talent is being able to blend her business acumen with her innate empathy. Her philosophy is to always treat others the way she wants to be treated.
